Use the following procedure in order to tighten the nuts (1) :
Install a new fuel injection line (5). Hand tighten nut (1) on each end of the fuel injection line. Repeat for the remaining fuel injection lines.
Install clamps (2) and (6). Make sure that the rubber grommets are in place in clamps (2) and (6). Install the bolts for the clamps and hand tighten the bolts.
Ensure that the outer diameter of the fuel lines are entered with the inner diameter of the nuts prior to tightening. Do not use excessive force or bending in order to assemble the fuel injection lines.
Tighten the nuts (1) of the fuel injection line and the nut at the pump to 27 3 N m (240 27 lb in).
If necessary, adjust the clamp (2) and clamp (6) .
Tighten the bolts for clamp (2) and clamp (6) to 12 3 N m (105 27 lb in).
Tighten nuts (1) of the fuel injection line at the fuel rail to 27 3 N m (240 27 lb in).Note: Lubricate the sealing face and the threads of the pressure sensor group with 6V-4876 Lubricant .
