Release the hydraulic system pressure.
Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.Make sure all of the work tools have been lowered to the ground, and the oil is cool before removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare hand.
Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil - Change" for the correct draining and filling procedures.

Remove bolts (2) and plate assembly (1) .

Remove cover assemblies (3) and (4) .

Remove soot sensors (5) and (6). Cut cable straps (7) and reposition soot sensors (5) and (6) .

Remove sheet assemblies (8) and (9) .
Remove bolts (10) .

Remove bolts (12) and disconnect tube assemblies (14) from the cooler bypass valve.
Disconnect all hose assemblies (15), harness assemblies (16), and tube assemblies (18) from main control valve (13) .
Remove support assembly (17) .

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to main control valve (13). The weight of main control valve (13) is approximately 345 kg (760 lb). Remove bolts (19) and main control valve (13) .Installation Procedure
Install main control valve (13) in the reverse order of removal.
Apply Tooling (B) to the threads of bolts (19) .
Tighten soot sensors (5) and (6) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft).
Apply Tooling (C) to the threads of bolts (1) .
