Use Tooling (B) (not shown) in order to raise the machine. Install Tooling (A) below the main frame.
As required, install cribbing under the tandems. The cribbing must prevent the tandems from oscillating in order to prevent the wheels from contacting the ground. The wheels must be prevented from contacting the ground during this procedure.

Adjust rod ends (5) to dimension (B) .
Position pedal (1) on splined shaft (2) to dimension (A) .
Completely turn in stop screw (3) .
Start the engine.
Depress pedal (1). Put the transmission control lever in FIRST speed.
Release pedal (1). Slowly depress pedal (1) until the wheels stop turning. Adjust stop screw (3) until the stop screw contacts pedal (1) .
Put the transmission control lever in PARK position. Release pedal (1). Turn the stop screw (3) in one turn. Tighten the locknut.
Push down on pedal (1). Put the transmission control lever in each forward and each reverse speed. If the wheels begin to move in any speed, loosen the locknut and turn stop screw (3) in one additional turn.
Stop the engine.
Raise the machine in order to remove Tooling (A) .
Lower the machine.
