Separate the track.

Remove three bolts (1) and scraper (2). Repeat for the opposite side of the idler assembly.

Connect Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to idler assembly (5). The weight of idler assembly (5) is approximately 163 kg (360 lb).

Slide idler assembly (5) out from the track roller frame and connect Tooling (B) to idler assembly (5).
Remove idler assembly (5).

Position idler assembly (5) onto Tooling (C) and suitable cribbing.

Attach Tooling (A), Tooling (B), and a suitable lifting device to yoke assembly (6). The weight of yoke assembly (6) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove bolts (7) and yoke assembly (6).Installation Procedure
Install idler assembly (5) in the reverse order of removal.
The idler block centerline and the shaft bore centerline are offset. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, SEBU9352, "Front Idler Position - Check/Adjust" for the appropriate centerline adjustments.
