Installation Procedure
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Ensure that the seat for the fuel injector in the cylinder head and the fuel injector is clean and free from damage.
On installing original fuel injector (1), install a new O-ring seal (5) and a sealing washer (6) to the fuel injector.On a new fuel injector, ensure that O-ring seal (5) and sealing washer (6) are not damaged and are in place.Note: Do not lubricate the O-ring seal.
Position clamp (4) onto fuel injector (1). Install fuel injector (1) into the cylinder head.Note: Alignment Pin (7) must be located opposite clamp (4).
Install bolt (3) finger tight.
Tighten bolt (3) to a torque of 27 N m (239 lb in).
Remove plugs from hose assemblies (2). Remove cap from fuel injector (1).
Install hose assemblies (2) to fuel injector (1).End By:
Install the fuel injection lines. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Injection Lines - Install".
