Standard Steering Mode
Note: Permit only one operator on the machine. Keep other personnel away from the machine or in the operator's sight.
Move the machine to a smooth, horizontal location. Move the machine away from other operating machines and away from personnel.
Run the engine at LOW idle with the transmission in NEUTRAL.
Disengage the parking brake.

Quick steering switch
If the machine is equipped with quick steering, be sure that the machine is in standard steer mode. When the machine is in standard steer mode, the light on the quick steering switch is off.
Run the engine at HIGH idle.
Turn the steering wheel to the left until you contact a steering stop.
Turn the steering wheel from the left steering stop to the right steering stop. Write down the needed time.
Turn the steering wheel from the right steering stop to the left steering stop. Write down the needed time.
Engage the parking brake.
Turn off the engine.
The cycle time for steering lock to steering lock at HIGH idle in standard steering mode should be 2.1 to 2.4 seconds.The steering pump should be working properly if the cycle
