PROBLEM
The existing 338-9808 Damper As. within the 169-1822 Damper and Pulley Group may experience a separation of the inertia ring from the hub at the rubber element on certain D9R Track-Type Tractors. If the existing damper separates it may create excessive vibration.

Refer to Reuse And Salvage Guidelines, SEBF8747, "General Recommendations for Rubber Damper Replacement".
If conditions are present per "General Recommendations for Rubber Damper Replacement", then replace the 169-1822 Damper and Pulley Group with 520-4231 Damper and Pulley Group.
Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, SENR5393, "Vibration Damper & Crankshaft Pulley.
