Start By:
Install the wheel chocks.
Personal injury or death can result from improper lifting or blocking.When a hoist or jack is used to lift any part or component, stand clear of the area. Be sure the hoist or jack has the correct capacity to lift a component. Install blocks or stands before performance of any work under a heavy component.Approximate weights of the components are shown. Clean all surfaces where parts are to be installed.
Note: Park the truck on a smooth, level surface before you perform any operations.

Remove cotter pin (2), pin (3), and washers (1). Use two people to remove rock ejector assembly (4). The weight of rock ejector assembly (4) is approximately 39 kg (87 lb).
Repeat Step 1 for the remaining rock ejector assembly.

Install body retaining pins (5).

Attach a suitable lifting device to hoist cylinder (6). The weight of hoist cylinder (6) is approximately 155 kg (342 lb.). Remove bolts (7) and plate (8). Remove pin (9). Repeat Step 4 for other pin.

Install pin (9) with threaded hole (10) facing outward.

Position Tooling (A) onto the shoes.

Remove body retaining pins (5).

Slowly lower body (11). Set body (11) onto Tooling (A).

Install Tooling (B).

Using Tooling (C), remove pin (9). Repeat Step 9 for other pin.

Remove bolts (12) in order to separate magnet assembly (14) from body (11). Disconnect sensor assembly (13). Reposition sensor assembly (13) out of the way.

Attach suitable shackles and a suitable lifting device to body (11). The weight of body (11) is approximately 15422 kg (34000 lb.).

Remove bolts (16) and plate (17). Remove pin assembly (15) and thrust washers (18) (not shown). Repeat Step 12 for other pin assembly.
Remove body (11). Installation Procedure
Install body (11) in the reverse order of removal.
