Ensure that thermal compensator valve (6) is oriented as shown in Illustration 10.

Install thermal compensator valve (6) onto bosses (B) which were located in Step 4, and secure with two bosses (29) and two bolts (24) .

Install O-Ring seal (11), O-Ring seal (12), and connector (16) onto port "A" of thermal compensator valve (6) .
Install O-Ring seal (11), O-Ring seal (12), and elbow (26) onto port "B" of thermal compensator valve (6) .
Install O-Ring seal (11) and adapter (13) onto port "C" of thermal compensator valve (6) .
Install O-Ring seal (12), O-Ring seal (22), and Tee (17) onto adapter (13) .
Install O-Ring seal (12), O-Ring seal (22), and elbow (18) onto the end of the filter base assembly.
Install O-Ring seal (22), O-Ring seal (28), and connector (27) onto the ball valve on the filter base assembly.
Install O-Ring seal (12), O-Ring seal (22), and elbow (18) onto the ball valve on the lower part of the fuel tank.
Install O-Ring seal (19) and elbow (20) onto the check valve on the fuel tank.

Install hose assembly (7), hose assembly (8), hose assembly (9), and hose assembly (10). Refer to Illustration 13 for reference.

Install two O-Ring seals (1), two O-Ring seals (21), and two connectors (15) onto tube assembly (C) .

Install hose assembly (4) connect one end of hose assembly (4) to oil cooler core assembly (2). Connect the opposite end of hose assembly (4) onto connector (15) on tube assembly (C) .

Install hose assembly (5) connect one end of hose assembly (5) to oil cooler core assembly (2). Connect the opposite end of hose assembly (5) onto connector (15) on tube assembly (C) .
