Remove the ring seal from the bowl. Discard the ring seal. Note: Replacement filters include a new ring seal. Reuse bowl (4) and use a new ring seal whenever a new fuel filter is installed.
Lubricate the newring seal with clean engine oil. Install the new ring seal in the groove of bowl (4).
