Position retainer assembly (10) and nut (11) to the recorded depth and install back-up pressure relief valve (1) in the steering control valve. Tighten cap (2) to a torque of 110 10 N m (81 7 lb ft). Start By:a. remove steering control valve (secondary)1. Ensure that the secondary steering valve is thoroughly clean prior to disassembly. 2. Remove back-up pressure relief valve (1) from the steering valve. 3. Remove cap (2), valve (3), spring (4) and plate (5) from the back-up pressure relief valve.4. Remove O-ring seals (7), and (8) from valve group (6). Remove O-ring seal (9) from cap (2).5. If it is necessary to remove retainer assembly (10), use a depth micrometer to measure and record the distance from point (a) to point (b). Loosen nut (11) and remove retainer assembly (10) from cap (2).6. Remove O-ring seal (12) from retainer assembly (10). 7. Remove pressure regulating valve (13) from the secondary steering valve. 8. Remove three O-ring seals (14), (15) and (16). Remove three back-up rings (17) and (18). 9. Remove cylinder crossover relief valve (19). 10. Remove two O-ring seals (20) and (21). Remove two back-up rings (22). 11. Remove secondary pump relief valve (23). 12. Remove two O-ring seals (24), (25) and two back-up rings (26). 13. Remove valve (27). 14. Remove five O-ring seals (28), (29), (30), (31) and (32). Remove eight back-up rings (33), (34), (35) and (36) from diverter valve (27). 15. Remove cylinder load shuttle valve (37). 16. Remove three O-ring seals (38), (39) and (40). Remove four back-up rings (41) and (42) from cylinder load shuttle valve (37). 17. Remove two plug assemblies (43) with pin, two seals (44), two springs (45) and two balls (46). 18. Remove adapter (47). Remove O-ring seal (48) from adapter (47). 19. Remove adapter (49) from the secondary steering valve. Remove O-ring seal (50) from adapter (49). 20. Pull retainer (51) from the secondary steering valve and remove the valve spool assembly. 21. Remove bolt (52), small washer (53), retainer (51), large spring (54), small spring (55), large washer (56), retainer (57) and shims (58) from stem (59). 22. Remove plug (60), spring (61) and check valve (62). Remove O-ring seal (63) from plug (60). 23. Remove test port plug No. 1 (64) and test port plug No. 2 (65) and the seal. 24. Remove plug (66), O-ring seal (67) and cushion orifice plug (68) from locations marked X and Y.Assemble Steering Valve (Secondary)
