2.10. For an ideal rework, the socket "46" should have the following dimensions:
Diameter: 63mm
Length: 140mm

2.11. Install a 6V-6080 Torque Multiplier on the socket and bring the reaction anchor against the frame. Ensure that the reaction anchor is well under tension. Refer to Image1.7.1.

2.12. Install the extension on the torque multiplier. This will allow the operator to work at a safe and proper height. The dimension of the extension is:
Diameter: 25mm
Length: 900mm

2.13. Remove the bolt.
Note : One bolt at a time.
2.14. Clean and degrease the swing bearing surface with suitable solvent or degreaser. Refer to Image1.9.1.

2.15. Degrease the 171-9285 Bolt (reuse, if no bending or thread damage) with suitable solvent or degreaser.
2.16. Degrease the new 453-1667 Spacer with suitable solvent or degreaser.
Install the new spacer on the bolt. Once dry, apply 5P-3931 Antiseize on the bolt engaged thread portion.
2.17. Assemble the bolt and new spacer on the swing bearing.
2.18. Ensure that the socket is clean in order to avoid grease on washer and mating surfaces.
2.19. Preset a click torque wrench at 250 N.m +/- 25 N.m and apply the pretorque on the bolt. Refer to Image1.11.1.

2.20. Install the 6V-6080 Torque Multiplier on the socket and bring the reaction anchor against the frame. Refer to Image1.12.1.
2.21. Ensure the reaction anchor is well under tension.

2.22. Bring the scaled ring of the torque multiplier in front of the 0 degree position. Refer to Image1.13.1.

2.23. Install the extension on the torque multiplier. This will allow the operator to work at a safe and proper height. The extension dimension is:
Diameter: 25mm
Length: 900mm

2.24. Using a ratched handle, rotate the torque multiplier until the scaled ring reaches 90 degrees +/- 5. Refer to Image1.15.1. Then, stop the movement and release the torque the multiplier.

2.25. Pay attention, due of the high tension in the reaction anchor, a second person may be required and necessary when loosening the torque multiplier
2.26. Before you install the inspection cover, inspect the gasket and replace the gasket if damage is found. Re-install the inspection cover. The four bolts have to be installed with Loctite 242 on the threads and tightened to a specified torque of 20 N.m.
3. IF MOVEMENT IS FOUND:
If the mark is NOT aligned, replace the swing bearing spacers AND bolts with conformed ones by removing the swing bearing.
3.1. Remove the swing bearing. Refer to KENR6406, Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Gear and Bearing - Remove", for additional instructions.
Note: When re-installing the swing bearing you must follow the instructions below for the assembly. Refer to KENR6406, Disassembly and Assembly, "Swing Gear and Bearing - Install", for additional instructions.
3.2. Degrease the swing bearing face receiving the bolts with suitable solvent or degrease.
3.3.Degrease the new 171-9285 Bolts and new 453-1667 Spacers with suitable solvent or degreaser before assembly.
3.4. Install the new spacer on the new bolt.
Once dry, apply 5P-3931 Antiseize on the bolt threads.
3.5. Tighten the bolts to a pre-torque of 250 +/- 25 N.m plus an angle of 90 +/- 5 degrees.
