Remove nut (52) and the washer. Disconnect battery cables (53) .

Disconnect upper radiator hose (58) at the water temperature regulator.

Place hose (62) out of the way.

Remove bolt (65) in order to disconnect the ground strap.

Disconnect governor control cable (66). Disconnect governor control cable (67) .Note: Mark the location of nuts (68) for installation purposes.
Loosen nuts (68) in order to disconnect the governor control cables.

Disconnect electrical connector (69) from the flywheel.

Disconnect electrical connector (70) from the air inlet heater.
Remove bolt (72), the washer, and the spacer in order to disconnect the wiring harness and the dipstick tube.
Remove bolt (71) and the washer from the clip for the wiring harness.

Note: Mark the fuel lines for installation purposes.
Loosen hose clamps (73) in order to disconnect the fuel lines from the fuel injection pump.

Loosen hose clamp (74) in order to disconnect the lower radiator hose.
Loosen hose clamp (75) in order to disconnect the heater line.

Fasten Tooling (B) and a hoist to the engine. Fasten Tooling (C) to the main hydraulic pump and the hoist, as shown. Use Tooling (C) in order to balance the engine.

Remove bolts (76), the washers, and nut assemblies (80). Remove washer (77) and rubber mounts (78) from the engine mounts.

Remove bolts (81) and the washers. Remove two rear engine mounts (82) .
Remove the engine and the main hydraulic pump. The weight of the engine and the main hydraulic pump is approximately 635 kg (1400 lb).
