Direction to drive in the new lip seal (1) Housing (2) Oil side of the seal (3) Air side of the sealAdaptable To: The new 193-2200 Lip Seal replaces the old 9X-7743 Lip Seal on the front output shafts and the rear output shafts of the output transfer gear group. The new 223-3925 Bearing Cage replaces the old 115-0527 Bearing Cage and the new 223-3924 Bearing Cage replaces the old 6I-8496 Bearing Cage .On machines that were built prior to the implementation of the new seal and cages, the new 223-3924 Bearing Cage is required on the front side of the output transfer gear group, but the old 115-0527 Bearing Cage can be reused on the rear side of the output transfer gear group. Drive a new 193-2200 Lip Seal into the old cage to the depth that is shown in Illustration 2 below.Note: Do not drive the seal to the bottom of the bore.
