Illustration 1 g03895654Open the cover of the storage box that is located on the right side in front of the fuel tank.The electric refueling pump (1) pumps fuel into the fuel tank.
Do not continuously operate the refueling pump for more than 30 minutes. Do not operate the refueling pump more than a few seconds without fuel. Pump damage can result.
On - Push switch (3) in order to activate the refueling pump.
Off - Push switch (4) in order to deactivate the refueling pump.
Remove cap (2) from the fuel tank.

Foot Valve Assembly
Open the end cap (6) of the foot valve (5) and make sure the rubber seal (7) is fixed at bottom of the end cap.
Properly insert the foot valve (5) into a container of fuel.
Push switch (3) in order to supply the fuel to the tank. When the tank is full, the pump stops refueling.
If the fuel is not pumped smoothly, check and clean the strainer filter (8) of the foot valve.

Half open the cap (6) and pull an end of the spring clip (9) with needle-nose pliers to remove the spring clip from the cap. Note: The spring clip cannot be removed with the cap opened fully.
Remove the cap (6) from the foot valve.

Remove spring clip (10) from the foot valve. Note: Be careful not to damage the end face of the foot valve.
Remove the strainer (8) from the foot valve.
Clean up the strainer.
Reinstall the strainer (8) into the foot valve.
Reinstall the spring clip (10) on the groove of the foot valve to fix the strainer.

Install cap (6) and close halfway.
Install spring clip (9) on the groove inside the cap.
After refueling, install cap (2) to the fuel tank.
Make sure that excess fuel is drained from suction hose before storing the suction hose.
Fully close the end cap of the foot valve (5) without any dirt on the seal of the end cap
When storing the suction hose, wind the hose on the bar. Secure the foot valve (5) in place. Note: To prevent hose damage, do not coil the hose in a tight radius.
Close the cover of the storage box.
