Install inner relief cartridge (42).
Install poppet (38), spring (39), and spring (40) on body (41).
Install stop (37) and valve (36). Note: When valve (36) is installed, tighten the valve to a torque of 15 N m (11.1 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (35) to shock valve (34). Note: Items (36) through items (47) are nonserviceable. Items (35) and (43) are serviced as a seal kit.

Before the shock valve is installed, lubricate the bore. To install shock valve (34), lightly tap the valve with a soft hammer.

Install stop (33) to cover (27).
Install guide (28), spring (30), and spring (29).
Install two O-ring seals (32).
Install two O-ring seals (31).

Install cover (27), the eight washers, and eight bolts (25). Note: When bolts (25) are installed, tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 3 N m (18.4 2.2 lb ft).
Install the washer and bolt (26). Note: When bolt (26) is installed, tighten the bolt to a torque of 80 10 N m (59.0 7.4 lb ft).

Install orifice (21) (not shown). Note: When orifice (21) is installed, tighten the orifice to a torque of 5 1 N m (44.2 8.8 lb in).
Install guide (24), spring (23), and spring (22).

Install stop (20) to cover (13).
Install spring (19).
Install two O-ring seals (18).
Install two O-ring seals (17).

Install cover (13). Install the eight washers and eight bolts (12). Note: When bolts (12) are installed, tighten the bolts to a torque of 25 3 N m (18.4 2.2 lb ft).
Install the washer and bolt (11). Note: When bolt (11) is installed, tighten the bolt to a torque of 80 10 N m (59.0 7.4 lb ft).
Install O-ring seal (14) and plug (15). Note: When plug (15) is installed, tighten the plug to a torque of 30 3 N m (22.1 2.2 lb ft).

Install O-ring seal (7) and plug (6). Note: When plug (6) is installed, tighten the plug to a torque of 60 5 N m (44.1 3.7 lb ft).
Install spring (5) and valve (8). Note: Spring (5) and valve (8) are serviced together as a valve kit.
Install O-ring seal (10) and plug (9). Note: When plug (9) is installed, tighten the plug to a torque of 25 3 N m (18.4 2.2 lb ft).

Install plug orifice (4).
Install O-ring seal (3) and plug (2).
Position steering control valve (1) on a suitable bench. The steering control valve weighs approximately 27 kg (60 lb). End By:
