Remove the auxiliary water pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Auxiliary Water Pump - Remove".
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.
Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat® products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Use Tooling (A) to remove drive gear (1).
Use Tooling (C) to remove retaining ring (2).
Remove spacer (3).
Remove cover (20).
Use Tooling (F) to remove impeller (19).
Remove cam liner (18).
Use Tooling (B) to remove retaining ring (16).
Remove plate (17).
Separate housing (4) from housing (15).
Use a suitable press to remove shaft assembly (10) from housing (4).
Use a suitable press and Tooling (E) to remove bearing (6).
Use Tooling (D) to remove retaining ring (7).
Use a suitable press and Tooling (E) to remove bearing (9) and spacer (8) from shaft assembly (10).
Remove washer (14) from shaft assembly (10).
Remove seal (13) and seal (12) from shaft assembly (10).
Remove washer (11) from shaft assembly (10).
Remove seal (5) from housing (4).
