1 ON OFF OFF No action is required. The warning is recorded. No harmful effects.
2 OFF Flashing OFF Change machine operation or perform maintenance to the system. Damage to system components.
3 OFF Flashing. ON (Pulse) Perform a safe engine shutdown immediately. Injury to operator or severe damage to components.
(1) This is the possible result if no action is taken by the operator.Note: If communication with the CAN data link is lost to the display module for 4 seconds or more, the indicator will turn Amber.The monitoring system has the following three warning levels for events:Warning Level 1 - Warning Level 1 does not affect the operation of the machine or alert the operator that a warning has occurred. Warning Level 1 is recorded and may be viewed from the "Diagnostics" menu of the display or with Cat® Electronic Technician (Cat ET) Service Tool.Level 2 - Warning Level 2 requires changing the operation of the machine or performing a maintenance procedure. Failure to correct the problem that caused this warning may damage the involved components or the involved system of the machine.Level 3 - Warning Level 3 requires an immediate safe shutdown of the machine to avoid damage to the machine or injury to personnel around the machine. The problem that caused the event must be corrected before machine operation can resume.Table 1 indicates the status of the alarm for each warning level.If the monitoring system detects an abnormal operating condition, the operator will be notified.
