1. Attach chain and a suitable lifting device to stub shaft (1). 2. Remove bolts (2), washers and plate (3). 3. Plate (3) removed.4. Inspect O-ring (4) for damage or wear, and replace if necessary. 5. Remove sprocket (5).6. Remove stub shaft (1). 7. Stub shaft (1) removed.8. Remove duo cone seal ring (6). For installation of duo-cone seals, see Installation of Duo-Cone Floating Seals in this manual. 9. Disconnect two hose assemblies (7).10. Remove rotor hood mounting bracket (8). Delete steps 9 and 10 if the rotor hood has not been removed.11. Remove duo-cone seal ring (9). For installation of duo-cone seals, see Installation of Duo-Cone Floating Seals in this manual. Delete steps 12 and 13 if the rotor hood has not been removed. 12. Remove 16 bolts (10). Bolts (10) are torqued in a criss-cross pattern.13. Remove stub shaft housing (11). 14. Remove seal (12).15. Remove bearing (13), if necessary. For installation of the chain case stub shaft reverse the removal steps.End By:a. Install rotor drum.
