Place 4P-7582 Clip (8) to bottom left through the hole of the half flange with 8T-8920 Bolt and 8T-4223 Hard Washer . Refer to Illustration 1.
Tighten the temperature sensor to the port on the adapter to 14 4 N m (10 3 lb ft).

Remove the 4P-7582 Clip on the pressure tap block that is located on the case of the transmission.Refer to Illustration 2.
Replace 4P-7582 Clip (8) with 132-5789 Clip (9) .Refer to Illustration 2.
Place the 130-5300 Clip (12) over the 132-5789 Clip (9) .Refer to Illustration 2.
Fasten the bolt and the washer.Refer to Illustration 2.
Disassemble the bolt and the washer from the guard for the harness.Refer to Illustration 2.
Place 132-5789 Clip .Refer to Illustration 2.
Fasten the bolt and the washer to the guard.Refer to Illustration 2.

Note the orientation of the pins for proper connection.
Remove the existing 249-7071 Transmission Harness As .
Replace 249-7071 Transmission Harness As with 326-4101 Transmission Harness As .
Route the 326-4101 Transmission Harness As from the connector to the rear of transmission.The 24-pin connector on the external harness needs to be oriented in a similar manner to the harness that is pictured in Illustration 2.
Reconnect 5P-6029 Lockwire on the military type connector.

Strap 326-4101 Transmission Harness As (2) on 132-5789 Clip (9) with 3S-2093 Cable Strap (4) in order to restrain the harness.
Connect 134-2252 Temperature Sensor Gp (TRANSMISSION OIL) to 130-5300 Clip (12) on pressure tap block that is located on transmission case. Use 3S-2093 Cable Strap in order to strap the harness for the temperature sensor to 4P-7582 Clip (8) so that there is no potential rubbing.
Connect the lead connector for the temperature sensor from 326-4101 Transmission Harness As onto the temperature sensor that is located on 130-5300 Clip (12) .Refer to Illustration 4 for the routing of the harness.

Remove the cage bolt and the washer for the bearing on the input transfer group in order to transfer the 4P-7582 Clip to the above bolt.
Tighten the bolts to 105 20 N m (77 15 lb ft).Use 3S-2093 Cable Strap in order to restrain the harness to the clip (ladder).
Attach the connectors for the output speed sensors.
Assemble the speed sensor guards.Refer to Illustration 6.
