(26)Diesel Fuel Tank And Filler Cap
Open drain valve and drain off any sediment or water that may have accumulated. 1. Remove and disassemble cap.2. Wash cap in clean solvent. 3. Oil elements lightly. Assemble and install cap.(27)Universal Joint
Remove floor plate and lubricate 2 fittings.(28)Cable Control Fair-Lead Sheave Lower Bearings
Remove plugs and install fittings. Lubricate 2 fittings and install plugs.(29)Transmission, Bevel Gear, And Steering Clutch Compartments
1. Oil should be warm before draining. Remove drain plugs from bevel gear case and flywheel housing. 2. Remove cover and screen from flywheel housing.3. Wash screen in clean solvent. Install screen and cover.4. Change filter element. Wash magnetic strainer. See item 22.5. Install bevel gear and flywheel clutch housing drain plugs. 6. Remove breather from filler cap. Install new breather. 7. Fill compartment. See refill capacities. Start engine and check oil level. Oil should be up to FULL mark on gauge.(30)Cable Control
Remove breather. Wash in clean solvent. Lightly oil element and install breather.(31)Final Drives
1. Remove drain plugs and allow oil to drain. 2. Remove breathers. Install new breathers.3. Install drain plugs. 4. Remove fill plugs and add oil to level of filler plug openings. See Refill Capacities.
