1. Remove the pins that connect the rod ends (9) for the rods (8) to the levers (7).2. Push control rods (3) all the way to the front of the machine so levers (4) are against bumpers (6). Push levers (2) all the way back (clutch ENGAGED position).3. Make an adjustment to rod ends (9) so the pin holes are in alignment with the holes in the levers (7). Turn the rod ends (9) one-half revolution so the length of rods (8) is made shorter. Install the pins and cotter pins that connect the rod ends to the levers (7). Tighten the locknuts on the rods to keep the rod ends (9) in position.4. Make an adjustment to control rods (3) so distance (A) between the face of the dash and the center line of each lever is ... 2.50 .12 in.(63.5 3.0 mm)5. Loosen the nuts that hold stop bolts (5). Turn bolts (5) in just enough to obtain some clearance between stop on lever and bolt when control rod (3) is pulled out as far as possible (clutch NOT ENGAGED position).6. Pull each control rod (3) to the rear of the machine (one control rod at a time) until a resistance is felt. At this time the valve spool of hydraulic booster will be against the shoulder (stop) in the valve housing (1).7. With the control rod (3) held in this position, turn stop bolt (5) out until it just comes in contact with the lever (4). Turn stop bolt (5) out (to lengthen) one-half turn more. Tighten the locknut on the bolt to keep the bolt in position.
