Remove the extender carriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Extender Carriage - Remove".
Remove the height adjuster jack gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Jack (Extender) - Remove".

Remove cable straps (1) .
Disconnect harness assemblies (2) .

Remove bolts (3) and caps (4) .

Install Tooling (A). Remove tube assemblies (5) .
Remove bolts (6). Remove plate (7) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to height adjuster group (8). The weight of the height adjuster group is approximately 159 kg (350 lb).
Carefully lift the height adjuster group (8) from the screed.

Remove bolts (9) and bottom plate (10) .Installation Procedure

Install bottom plate (10). Install bolts (9) .

Attach a suitable lifting device to height adjuster group (8). The weight of the height adjuster group is approximately 159 kg (350 lb).
Install height adjuster group (8) .

Install plate (7). Install bolts (6) .
Install Tooling (A). Install tube assemblies (5) .

Install caps (4). Install bolts (3) .

Connect harness assemblies (2) .
Replace cable straps (1) .End By:
Install height adjuster jack gp. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Jack (Extender) - Install".
Install the extender carriage. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Height Adjuster Jack (Extender) - Install".
