COVER-WATER PUMP 4N3065 - Caterpillar

1. Remove four bolts (4), and remove plate (1) from around drive shaft (3).2. Remove four bolts (2) from the drive shaft. 3. Remove four bolts (5) from the drive shaft, and use two persons to remove drive shaft (3). The weight of the drive shaft is 34 kg (75 lb.). 4. Remove four bolts (6), and remove spider (7) from each end of drive shaft (3). The following steps are for installation of the drive shaft.5. Put spiders (7) in position on drive shaft (3) and install bolts (6). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).6. Use two persons to position drive shaft (3), and install bolts (5). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).7. Put the drive shaft in position on the transmission yoke, and install bolts (2). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 135 15 N m (100 11 lb ft).8. Put plate (1) in position, and install bolts (4).
