Test Step 1. TEST THE BUTTON FOR THE "ACTIVATE STATION".

(1) Active diagnostic status or active station location Note: The text that indicates the location of the active station will appear in the field for the active diagnostic status or active station location (1).
Place the throttles in the IDLE and NEUTRAL positions.
Press the button for "STATION ACTIVE" on the control panel. The indicator for "STATION ACTIVE" will illuminate. It will not flash.

(2) Indicators for the "Station Button Status"
Change the screen on the marine power display (MPD) in order to display the screen for "CONTROL SYSTEM INFORMATION". Refer to Systems Operation, "Marine Power Display". The indicators for the "Station Button Status" (2) will display "OFF" when no buttons are being pressed. Expected Result:When a button is pressed and held, the field for the "Station Button Status" will change from "OFF" to "ON". This will indicate that the button is working properly.Results:
OK - The field changes properly.STOP
NOT OK - When a button is pressed and held the status DOES NOT change from OFF to ON. If an integrated control head (ICH) is installed, temporarily replace the ICH. Press a button again in order to ensure the status changes from OFF to ONRepair: An installation which has a slim line control head will have a control station processor (CSP). Do not replace the slim line control head. If the installation has a slim line control head, go to Systems Operation, "Control Panel - Test".STOP
