Disassembly Procedure
Start By:
Remove the fuel transfer pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Fuel Transfer Pump - Remove" for the correct procedure.

Remove drive coupling (2) from the shaft of the fuel transfer pump.
Remove O-ring seal (1) from the fuel transfer pump.

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure.Spring force will be released when covers are removed.Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened.
Remove cap (6), seal washer (5), spring (4), and relief valve poppet (3) from the bracket of the fuel transfer pump.

Remove bolts (7). Remove head (8) of the fuel transfer pump from plate (9) .

Remove check valve (10) from head (8) of the fuel transfer pump.

Remove plate (9) from the casing of the fuel transfer pump.
Remove gasket (11) and the O-ring seal from the opposite side of plate (9) .
Remove the bearings from plate (9) .

Remove gear (12) and shaft (13) from the bracket of the fuel transfer pump and from casing (14) of the fuel transfer pump.

Remove casing (14) of the fuel transfer pump and sleeves (15) from bracket (16) of the fuel transfer pump.
Remove the O-ring seal from casing (14) of the fuel transfer pump.

Remove outer seal (17) and inner seal (18) from bracket (16) of the fuel transfer pump.
Remove the bearings from bracket (16) of the fuel transfer pump.
