Which Generate This Code:This diagnostic code is caused when a related CID 0353 FMI 03, 04 or 08 is present. These diagnostic codes can be active or intermittent in order to cause a CID 0353 FMI 02 diagnostic code.Note: This diagnostic code must be cleared and the powerup test must be performed successfully before all blade functions are available.System Response:The machine response is listed:
A loss of all blade functions.
A loss of AUTO pitch functions.
A loss of AUTO return functions.
A loss of AUTO spread functions.Test Step 1. RESET THE SYSTEM.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the ON position.
Clear the active diagnostic code.
Verify that the diagnostic code is active.
Turn the key start switch to the OFF position.
Then, turn the key start switch back to the ON position again.
Ensure that the powerup test is performed successfully.Expected Result:The diagnostic code is NO longer active.Results:
OK - The diagnostic code is NO longer active. Resume normal machine operation and watch for a recurrence.STOP
NOT OK - The diagnostic code remains active.Repair: Exit this procedure and perform this procedure again. If the cause of the diagnostic code is not found, replace the ECM. See Testing and Adjusting, "ElectronicControl Mdule (ECM) - Replace".STOP
