Use cutting template to modify bracket assembly (C).

Edge of the cutting template (C) should line up with the edge of the bracket assembly (B).

Mark along the edge of cutting template (C) and cut bracket (B) along the marked line.

Grind cut face smooth after cutting. The area next to the weld need to be smooth and free of notches.Areas away from the weld do not require ground surface finish but should not have any gouges or nicks.
