Remove the rear axle stabilizer rod. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Rear Axle Stabilizer Rod - Remove and Install".

Place an appropriate floor jack under the front of rear suspension frame (1) .

Attach Tooling (A) and appropriate nylon lifting slings to each side of the rear of center suspension frame (1) .

Remove grease line (2) from washer (3) .
Remove nut (4), the washer, washer (3), bolt (5), and the washer.

Remove pin (6) .Note: Use a suitable driver in order to remove the pin from the cylinder.

Remove six bolts (7) and the washers that secure bracket (8) to housing (9). Use three people or an appropriate lifting device in order to remove the bracket from the machine. The weight of the bracket is 40 kg (88 lb).

Remove six bolts (10) from housing (9). Use Tooling (A) in order to lower the frame from the machine. The weight of the frame is 187 kg (412 lb).

Remove six bolts (11) from clamp ring (12). Remove the ring.

Use pin (6) and a hammer, or use a press in order to remove bearing (13) .
