Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the storage box. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Storage Box and Covers (Cab) - Remove and Install" in this manual.

Remove bolt (3) and the washer from upper air duct (2). Peel back two rubber gaskets (1) on each side of upper air duct (2). Remove upper air duct (2).

Disconnect two electrical connectors (4) to two damper motors. Note: Mark the two electrical connectors for assembly purposes.

Remove four bolts (6) and the washers. Remove case assembly (5).

Remove bolt (9), the nut, and the washers. Reposition the cab air temperature sensor. Remove eight screws (8) and the washers. Remove four bolts (10) and the washers. Remove blower housing (7). Remove the orifice plates. Note: Mark the blower housing in order to indicate the blower housing's orientation for installation purposes.Note: Mark the orifice plates in order to indicate the plate's orientation for installation purposes.

Remove wire tie-wrap (12). Disconnect electrical connector (13). Remove blower motor (11). Note: Mark the rotation of the blower motor for installation purposes.

Remove clip (14). Remove blower wheel (15).
Repeat Step 6 in order to remove the other blower wheel. Installation Procedure
Illustration 7 g00573439Note: Make sure that the rotation arrow on the blower wheel matches the rotation on the blower motor.
Install blower wheel (15). Install clip (14).
Repeat Step 1 in order to install the other blower wheel.

Install blower motor (11). Connect electrical connector (13) to the blower motor. Install wire tie-wrap (12).
Illustration 9 g00573155Note: Make sure that the orifice plates are installed with the correct orientation.
Install the orifice plates. Install blower housing (7). Install the washers and four bolts (10). Install the washers and eight screws (8). Place the cab air temperature sensor in the correct position. Install the washers, the nut, and bolt (9).

Install case assembly (5). Install the washers and four bolts (6).

Connect two electrical connectors (4) to the correct damper motors.

Install upper air duct (2). Reattach two rubber gaskets (1). Install the washer and bolt (3). End By:
