Machine Preparation
Before the work progress, please make sure that the machine is parked on a horizontal ground and ensure a safety environment surrounding the machine.
Apply parking brake. Turn engine key switch to the OFF position.
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "OFF" position.

Perform Lockout Tag Out procedure by attaching a warning tag to the machine controls.
Process will be involved with cutting and welding, so please make sure to remove the primary and secondary filter element from the cleaner group before any rework and ensure all Safety precautions and warnings are provided to the technician before the work is started.Installation Procedure

(A) 355-3148 Pressure Switch
Remove the damaged pressure switch (A) from compressor group and replace with 9L-8493 Flared Cap. Tighten to 8 1.5 N m (71 13.2 lb in).

(B) 223-3945 Hose As
Replace the existing hose assembly (B) with new 553-1814 Hose As. The new hose assembly is formed by 7X-2473 Hose with 320-1766 Air Conditioner Coupling As with a pressure switch port on the condenser side. The other side of the 7X-2473 Hose is connected to the compressor group by 320-1775 Air Conditioner Coupling.Use two 9X-7381 O-Ring Seals, one on each coupling. Before installing, lubricate the O-ring seals with 1 mL (0.034 oz) of 1U-9763 Vacuum Pump Oil.

Assemble the 320-1766 Air Conditioner Coupling As of hose assembly (2) on the condenser side at an angle of 25 degrees to the vertical as shown in Illustrattion 4.Install pressure switch (1) on the port of 320-1766 Air Conditioner Coupling As. Use 9X-7378 O-Ring Seal. Lubricate the O-ring seal with 1 mL (0.034 oz) of 1U-9763 Vacuum Pump Oil. Tighten to 8 1.5 N m (71 13.2 lb in).

(3) 202-2168 Fuel Tank Harness As
Route the fuel tank harness assembly (3) from compressor to condenser as shown in Illustration 5. Connect the end of the harness to pressure switch (1) and other end to refrigerant jumper harness wires 521-YL(Yellow)and 513-OR(Orange).

Secure the fuel tank harness assembly (3) to the hose assembly (2) using nine straps (4) and three cable straps (5) as shown in Illustration 6.
