Existing track roller frame access cover (A) used on D7E Track-Type Tractors (S/N: MDB1-UP; SCG1-UP; TAN1-UP; TJA1-UP)

Remove existing track roller frame cover (A). If cover (A) is equipped with a gasket, remove the remaining gasket material from the track roller frame. Discard the existing covers and hardware.
Center adapter plate (6) in the existing opening. Ensure that the cover plate mounting holes are facing up. Adapter plate (6) should stand slightly above the track roller frame.
Prepare the area between adapter plate (6) and the track roller frame for welding. Fill any gaps with weld. The weld joint must be continuous and water tight.
Install O-ring (1) into cover plate (5). Install film (4) on the O-ring groove side (inside) of cover plate (5) .
Install cover plate (5) using four bolts (3) and four washers (2) .
Repeat Step 1 through Step 5 for the opposite track roller frame access cover.
