Loosen thumb screws (3) and open the door (4) for the voltage changeover board.

Remove 10 hex nuts and washers (5) that fasten the voltage changeover board (6) .

Position the voltage changeover board (6) to the left for low voltage (240V). The position of the voltage changeover board is indicated through the cutout (7). Fasten the voltage changeover board (6) with nuts and washers (5) .

Position the voltage changeover board to the right for high voltage (480V). The position of the voltage changeover board is indicated through the cutout (7). Fasten the voltage changeover board (6) with nuts and washers (5) .

Close the door for the voltage changeover board (4) and fasten the door with thumb screws (3) .

Remove the clear plastic shield on the main circuit breaker (8) which covers the switches for the rotary trip adjustment.

Use a small screwdriver to adjust the switches (9) of the rotary trip adjustment to the correct amperage.

"LOW (240V) - 800 Amp"
Install the clear plastic shield on the main circuit breaker (8) in order to cover the switches (9) of the rotary trip adjustment.

Proceed with the load connections. Close the door (2) for the load buses and fasten the door (2) with thumb screws (1) after the connections to the load buses have been made.Load Connections

Verify the correct load phase rotation with the generator prior to connecting the output power cables.
Note: The procedure for the load connection is illustrated by using a XQ400 dual voltage distribution panel. All of the instructions are typical for both the dual voltage distribution panel and for the single voltage distribution panel.

Ensure that the generator set is not operating. Place main circuit breakers (1) in the "OFF" position. The "OFF" position is the open position.Dual voltage distribution panels can have two different voltages. Determine the voltage to use. Use either HIGH (480 V) or LOW (240 V) voltage. Select the applicable receptacles (5) or bus bars (3) .
Connect the output power cables to the receptacles (5) or to the bus bars (3) .If it is necessary to connect the output power cables to the bus bars:
Loosen thumb screws (2) and open the door to the load connections. The shunt trips for the main circuit breaker are activated when the door is opened.
Connect the output power cables to the appropriate bus bars (3) .
Close the door to the load connections and secure the door with thumb screws (2). The shunt trips for the main circuit breakers will activate if the door is not properly secured.
