COVER-RECTIFIER 7E6577 - Caterpillar

1. Remove three panels (1), (2) and (3) from inside the cab door. Disconnect the rod from the back of latch panel (3). Remove insulation from the bottom door section. 2. Remove nut (6) from handle assembly (5), then slide retaining bracket (4) off of the panel. Remove handle assembly (5) from the panel. 3. Loosen the clips on the outside door handle and remove rods (7) and (8). 4. Remove nut (9) from handle assembly (12). Remove retaining bracket (11) and the handle assembly from the outside of the door.5. Remove four bolts and lockwashers (10) from the door latch. Remove the latch.6. To remove the glass from the door see Remove Cab Window Glass.Assemble Cab Door
1. Install door latch (3) with lever (1) installed through the hole in the door. Install four bolts and lockwashers (2) in the latch. 2. Install outside handle assembly (5) from outside of door and slide the retaining bracket (4) on to the door latch. Install the nut to hold retaining bracket. 3. Install two rods (6) and (7) with clips (8). 4. Install inside door handle (10) to panel (12), then slide retaining bracket (11) in position under the tabs on the handle. Install the nut on stud (9) to hold bracket (11) to the handle. 5. Connect rod (13) to lever (14) on the handle. Install inside panel (15) to the door with seven screws.6. Install upper panel to the inside of the door and to the left of panel (15). Install the insulation and perforated lower panel to the door.7.
