Install the new fuse block assembly:
16) Position the new fuse panel assembly next to the hole with the weld nut removed. Install the bolt and washer through the top left mounting tab. Secure bolt with washer and nut. Refer to (16) in Image1.10.1.
17) Position the fuse block assembly to allow harness and cable connections to the fuse block assembly. Mark the desired locations of the three remaining mounting holes. Refer to (17) in Image1.10.1.
18) Remove the mounting bolt and remove the fuse block assembly. Remove the straps from the harness and move the harness away from the work area. Drill the three 0.25 inch (6.3 mm) mounting holes. Refer to (17) in Image1.10.1.

19) Connect the eight harness connectors to the correct locations on the new fuse block assembly. Verify that the eight harness connectors have been fully seated in the fuse block assembly. Refer to (18) in Image1.11.1.

20) Install 9X-8256 Washers onto the four 8T-4138 Mounting Bolts. Install the mounting bolts into the mounting tabs on the fuse block assembly and secure to the battery box with 9X-8256 Washers and 5C-2890 Nuts. Tighten the four mounting bolts to 6 +/- 1 Nm. Refer to (19) in Image1.12.1.

21) Install the two cable assemblies in the correct locations.
a) Install 377-3913 Cable. Refer to (20) in Image1.13.1.
b) Install 377-3912 Cable. Refer to (21) in Image1.13.1.

22) Install the fuse block terminal hardware in the correct order. Refer to Image1.14.1 for the correct assembly order.
a) 9F-5644 Lockwasher

c) 7X-0608 Hard washer
d) 5C-7261 Hex nut

23) Install the two 4F-2294 Nuts on the main relay to secure the fuse block cables. Refer to (22) in Image1.15.1.
a) Tighten the nuts to 6 +/- 0.5 Nm.
24) Tighten the two fuse block terminal nuts to 19 +/- 1 Nm. Refer to (23) in Image1.15.1.
25) Secure the electrical harness to the panel assembly with 7K-1181 Cable Straps . Refer to Image1.15.1.

26) Install the fuse access door assembly onto the battery box. Refer to (24) in Image1.16.1.

27) Install the ground level service center enclosure cover (25). Refer to Image1.17.1.

28) Apply sealant/caulk to seal the three unused mounting holes in the battery box. Refer to (26) in Image1.18.1.
a) Use Loctite Superflex RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant-Black (Loctite 5980 in EAME).
b) Refer to PEGJ0075 for a location to obtain Loctite products.

29) Use a suitable lifting device to install the batteries. The weight of each battery is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).
30) Install the battery hold-down (27). Install the battery cable assemblies (28). Refer to Image1.19.1.

31) Turn the battery disconnect switch to the "ON" position and verify the correct operation of the new fuse block assembly.
