Loosen the breather outlet hose clamps. Remove the hose from the breather cover.
Remove the bolts that secure the breather to the valve cover base. Remove the engine crankcase breather.
Check the condition of the cover gasket. Replace the cover gasket if the cover gasket is damaged.
Wash the breather element and the breather element cover assembly in a clean nonflammable solvent.
Shake the breather element until the breather element is dry. You may also use pressure air to dry the breather element.
Check the condition of the hose. Replace the hose if the hose is damaged.
Install the breather element cover assembly.
Install the hose and the breather outlet hose clamps.
Install the access cover.
