The 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit is used to make field repairs on any electrical wiring harness which has Sure Seal Connectors. Also, the kit can be used to make up new wiring harnesses for attachments or modifications to vehicles.
Improvements have been made to the 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit which makes it easier to use. The kit now has a new 6V3008 Insertion Tool, a 6V3001 Crimping Tool and extra Sure Seal connector parts. Also, the kit has a space for rubber lubricant (alcohol). The 6V3002 Tool, 6V3003 Block and 6V3004, 6V3005 and 6V3006 Guards have been removed from the kit.
Because of the improvements made to the 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit, different instructions are needed for use of the new tools. Special Instruction, Form No. SMHS7531-01 gives complete instructions for use of the new tools in the kit.
