Removal Procedure
Install the wheel chocks. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel Chock (Front and Rear) - Remove and Install".
Pressurized air can cause personal injury. The air supply lines are pressurized to 830 kPa (120 psi).Purge the air from the system before performing any maintenance to the air system.
Note: Install caps and plugs on all openings in order to prevent dirt or debris from entering the system. Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal components.

Put identification marks on hose assemblies (1) and (2) for installation purposes.
Disconnect hose assemblies (1) and (2) from the air dryer.
Disconnect heater (4) from the air dryer.
Disconnect hose assemblies (3) and (5) from the air dryer.

Note: Mark the orientation of the air fittings on the air dryer for installation purposes.
Remove four nuts (7), the washers, two U-bolts (8), and two clamps (6) from the mounting brackets.
Remove the air dryer from the machine.Installation Procedure

Position the air dryer to the machine in the original orientation.
Install four nuts (7), the washers, two U-bolts (8), and two clamps (6) in order to secure the air dryer to the machine.

Connect hose assemblies (3) and (5) to the air dryer.
Connect heater (4) to the air dryer.
Connect hose assemblies (1) and (2) to the original locations.
