Engine Oil Life Monitor

(1) Check engine indicator (2) Engine oil pressure indicatorThe engine oil life monitor tracks the state of the engine oil. The engine oil life monitor uses the check engine indicator (1) and the engine oil pressure indicator (2) to alert the operator of the state of the engine oil. Use the following chart to determine the state of the engine oil.

Off Off Oil life is OK.
Off Key On Flash Engine oil change due. Triggered at 480 hours from last oil change reset.
On Key On Flash The engine oil life has reached the maximum recommended life.
Flash Key On Flash The engine oil life has exceeded the maximum allowable life for the monitored operating conditions.
Off Flash Reset confirmed. Engine oil pressure indicator will flash three times. Engine Oil Life Reset
Use the following procedure to reset the engine oil life.
Turn the engine start switch to the ON position. Do not start the engine.

Press the bottom of the Regeneration Switch for 5 seconds.Note: The bottom of the Regeneration Switch disables regeneration. After completing Step 2 the DPF disabled indicator will illuminate. Disabling regeneration will have no affect on the machine because the engine is not running.
Release the Regeneration Switch for 5 seconds.
Press the bottom of the Regeneration Switch for 5 seconds.
Release the Regeneration Switch for 5 seconds.
Press the bottom of the Regeneration Switch for 5 seconds.
The engine oil pressure indicator will flash three times, indicating that the engine oil life has been reset to 100%.
In order to re-enable regeneration, cycle the engine start switch, or press and hold the top of the regeneration switch for 2 seconds.
