The Location of the Serial Number for the System

Serial Number Location The serial number for the system can be located on a label in the bottom left hand corner inside the system cabinet. The serial number plate will have the number for the sales model and the serial number on the plate. The serial number will start with a three-position alpha prefix. The serial number will end with a number with five digits. Refer to Table 1 for the following information: Model Number, Serial Number Prefix and the number of cabinets in the system.

The serial number for the input/output cabinet can be located on the bottom left side on the floor of the cabinet. The serial number will be stamped into the metal. The serial number will be a number with four digits that start with 1XXX. Serial Number Location for the System Cabinet
The serial number for the system cabinet can be located on the bottom left side on the floor of the cabinet. The serial number will be stamped into the metal. The serial number will be a number with four digits that starts with 6XXX. Serial Number Location for the Multiple Module Unit (MMU)
The serial number for the MMU can be located on the bottom left side on the floor of the cabinet. The serial number will be stamped into the metal. The serial number will be a number with five digits that starts with 2XXXX.Placement of the Electric Power Label
