Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids.Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Caterpillar Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Caterpillar products.Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Remove tube assembly (1). Remove bolts (2) and bolts (3) .

Disconnect harness assembly (4). Loosen clamp (5) in order to disconnect hose (6) .

Disconnect hose assembly (7) .
Remove bolts (8). Remove bracket (9) .

Disconnect harness assembly (15). Disconnect hose assembly (16). Disconnect harness assembly (17). Remove clip (18). Remove clip (19) .

Position harness assembly (24) out of the way.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device onto cylinder head (25) and the turbocharger. The weight of cylinder head (25) and the turbocharger is approximately 213 kg (470 lb).

Remove bolts (26) and bolts (27) .

Remove tube assembly (28). Disconnect tube assembly (29) .
