COVER 8S5559 - Caterpillar

1. Put wooden blocks (1) under both sides of push arms (2) as shown. 2. Disconnect tag link (3) from the ball joint on the cleaner bar. See REMOVE TAG LINK.3. Fasten a strap and a hoist to the lift cylinder. 4. Remove bolts (5), cap (4) and shims (6). Disconnect the cylinder from the blade. 5. Pull cylinder (7) in a small amount and put it on the cleaner bar. 6. Remove bolts (8). Remove guard (9) from push arm and guard (10) from the cleaner bar.
Release the pressure from the hydraulic system before any lines are removed or disconnected.
7. Disconnect oil lines (12). Put plugs or caps in the openings of the oil lines to prevent a loss of oil.8. Remove bolts (11) and clamps (13) that hold the oil lines to the cleaner bar. 9. Remove bolts (14) and caps (15) that hold the push arms to the cleaner bars.10. Move the machine away from the bulldozer group.Install Bulldozer Group (815B)
1. Make an alignment of the bulldozer group and the machine. Install caps (1) and the bolts to both sides of the machine. 2. Connect oil lines (3). Install clamps (2) that hold the oil lines to the cleaner bar. 3. Install guards (4).4. Let the cylinder rod out until contact is made with the ball joint. 5. Install original shims (7), cap (5) and bolts (6). Check to make sure cylinder rod does not bind. Add or remove minimum amount of shims until there is no end clearance. 6. Connect tag link (8) to the ball joint and install cap (9). See INSTALL TAG LINK.
