(A) C-frame
(B) Center casting
(C) Center pin
Remove the blade and center pin (C) from C-frame (A). Note: The C-frame removal from the machine may not be necessary.

Remove current bearings (D) from center casting (B). Repair

Before welding
(AA) 122.4 mm (4.82 inch)
Overbore the forward bearing journal to dimension (AA) before welding. This procedure will ensure that the forward bearing size will not be at the weld fusion point.

(F) Front stop lip
(G) Contour before the lip was added
Weld at the front bore of the center casting (B) to build up the material for the front stop lip (F) and bearing diameter.

Line bore the center casting (B) to the new bore specifications. Installation

Install the new front bearing (1) from the rear to the front stop lip.
Install the new rear bearing (2).
Reinstall the blade with new pivot pin (3). Reference: Refer to the Blade Installation Special Instruction for your machine.
