Transmission
Prior to transmission system warm-up, ensure that all clutches have been activated at least twice by shifting through all forward gears and reverse gears two times with the engine at low idle. Activating the clutches ensures that transmission oil has been worked through the system.
With the parking brake applied and the engine running at high idle, Shift transmission into fourth gear forward and hold for 15 seconds.
Keep the parking brake applied and the engine running at high idle, shift the transmission to neutral and hold for 5 seconds.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 until the transmission oil is at desired temperature.
Unless otherwise specified, do not allow the torque converter outlet temperature rise to above 110° C (230° F).Engine
The engine will naturally warm up while under load from the hydraulic or the transmission system. If the engine needs to be warmed up, perform either the hydraulic system or the transmission system warm-up procedure.Machine Preparation
Park the machine on a smooth, level surface.
Place the transmission in the NEUTRAL position.
Lower the work tool to ground.
Engage the parking brake.
Place blocks in front of the wheels and behind the wheels.
Install the steering frame lock.

Allow only authorized personnel on the machine. Keep unauthorized personnel off the machine and in clear sight of the operator.Note: All tests and all adjustments must be made while the transmission oil is at normal operating temperature.Tools

The torque converter stall speed tests shall be performed with the engine coolant and hydraulic oil at normal machine testing temperature. The cooling fan at maximum calibrated speed command. The transmission sump oil temperature at 83° 7°C (181° 12°F) and the torque converter oil temperature at 93° 17°C (200° 30°F)Note: The parking brake must be applied when the tests are performed. Make sure that the parking brake is fully operational before you perform any tests. The service brakes must be applied when the tests are performed. Make sure that the service brakes are fully operational before you perform any tests.To perform the torque converter stall speed tests, fully apply the parking brake and the service brakes.

Shift the transmission to fourth gear forward. Press throttle pedal to 100%. With the torque converter stalled, the engine speed and torque converter outlet pressure (1) shall be as listed in table 3.

Shift the transmission to fourth gear forward. Press throttle pedal to 100%. The tilt cylinders should be extended and stalled. With the torque converter stalled and
