Install sun gear (30). Use Tooling (D) to install retaining ring (29). Install ring (28) and retaining ring (29).

Install bearings (26) into planetary gear (25).
Install disc (24), planetary gear (25), and disc (27) into carrier assembly (16)
Install shaft (23) and install pin (22).
Repeat the previous three steps for the remaining planetary gear assemblies.

Install gasket (21) onto slinger (20). The rubber surface of gasket (21) should face slinger (31).

Install slinger (20), locks (19), and bolts (18) into carrier assembly (16). Bend locks (19) against bolts (18).

Invert carrier assembly (16). Install ring gear (17) onto carrier assembly (16).

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to carrier assembly (16). The weight of carrier assembly (16) is approximately 30 kg (65 lb). Install carrier assembly (16).
Install spacer (15) into the inside carrier assembly (16). Use Tooling (E) to install retaining ring (14).

Install springs (10), dowels (11), discs (12), and plates (13).

Install seals (9) onto piston (8). Install piston (8). Install O-ring seals (6) and (7).

Personal injury can result from being struck by parts propelled by a released spring force.Make sure to wear all necessary protective equipment.Follow the recommended procedure and use all recommended tooling to release the spring force.
Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to housing (4). The weight of housing (4) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb). Install housing (4). Install bolts (5). Tighten bolts (5) to a torque of 115 7 N m (85 5 lb ft).
