6. Remove bolts (10) that hold output assembly to the output transfer drive housing. 7. Fasten tooling (A) and a hoist to the output yoke. It might be necessary to use tooling (D) to assist in forcing the output assembly from the housing. Remove output assembly (11) from the housing. 8. Remove bolts (12) and make a separation between output yoke flange assembly (13) and the output flange. 9. Remove O-ring seal (15) and bearing race (14) from the output flange. 10. Remove retainer ring (16) from the output yoke flange assembly with tool (K). 11. Put the output yoke assembly in position in a press. Push yoke (17) from flange assembly (13) with the press and tool (L). 12. Remove retainer ring (19) with tool (K). Remove roller bearing (18) from the output flange. 13. Press seal (21) and bearing (20) out of the output flange as a unit. 14. Remove fork selector and dog drive (22). 15. Remove four bolts (23) to remove idler bearing housing (24). It may be necessary to use tooling (C) to assist in forcing the idler bearing housing from the output transfer drive housing.16. Remove idler bearing housing (24). Remove the seal and bearing race from the idler bearing housing. 17. Fasten tooling (B) and a hoist to brake housing (25). Remove six bolts (26). It may be necessary to use tooling (E) to assist in forcing the brake housing from the output transfer drive housing.18. Remove brake housing (25). 19. Remove bolts (28) and then remove seal holder (27) from the brake housing. 20. Turn the brake housing over. Remove O-ring seal (30) and then remove bearing race (29) and seal (31) from the brake housing. 21. Remove output gear (32) from the output transfer drive housing. 22. Fasten tooling (F) and a hoist to the input gear (33) and lift it out of the output transfer drive housing. Weight of the input gear is 34 Kg (75 lb.). 23. Use tooling (G) as shown to pull the idler gear shaft. The bearing on the opposite end of the idler gear shaft will fall off as the shaft is being removed. 24. Remove idler gear (35) from the output transfer drive housing. 25. Remove bearing races (36), (37) and (38) from the output transfer drive housing. 26. Remove bearing (39) from the output gear. 27. Remove bearing (40) from the idler gear shaft. 28. Remove bearings (43) from the input gear. If necessary, a separation of the input boss (42) and input gear can be made by removing bolts (41).Assemble Output Transfer Drive
