The recommended procedure is to check the existing software and then install the corresponding new software.
Note: Always use the latest new software available on SIS Web if the software is updated before this Service Letter is completed.

SAFETY - PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FOR REPLACING THE MACHINE ECM SOFTWARE ACCORDING TO MACHINE CONFIGURATION
MODELS INVOLVED - CERTAIN 374DL, 374D OEM, AND 390DL EXCAVATORS
Dear Cat Product Owner:
The machine ECM software needs to be re-flashed on the products listed below. The existing machine ECM software can move the bucket cylinder rod when the bucket lever is activated with the joystick set to activate the auxiliary circuit. You will not be charged for the service performed.
Contact your local Cat dealer immediately to schedule this service. The dealer will advise you of the time required to complete this service.
If you are no longer the owner of this product, please contact your local Cat dealer so that our records can be updated.
