Removal Procedure
Start By:
Remove the Original Equipment Manufactures (OEM) exhaust system. Refer to the (OEM) for the correct procedure.

Remove bolts (4) that secure exhaust elbow (3) to the engine. Remove exhaust elbow (3) from the engine.
Remove coupling (1) that connects exhaust elbow (3) to turbocharger (5).
If necessary, remove studs (2) from exhaust elbow (3). Installation Procedure

Thoroughly clean exhaust elbow (3), coupling (1) and outlet of turbocharger (5). Inspect the sealing faces of the components for wear or damage. Replace any components that are worn or damaged.
If necessary, install studs (2) from exhaust elbow (3). Tighten the studs to a torque of 18 N m (159 lb in).
Install coupling (1) to exhaust elbow (3).
Align coupling (1) to the outlet of turbocharger (5). Install assembly of coupling (1) and exhaust elbow (3) to turbocharger (5).
Install bolts (4) finger tight.
Ensure that coupling (1) is fully engaged into the outlet of turbocharger (5) and into exhaust elbow (3). Ensure that the gap between the turbocharger and the exhaust elbow is evenly spaced.
Tighten bolts (4) to a torque of 44 N m (32 lb ft). End By:
