Introduction
This procedure should be performed if the machine will shift freely between all REVERSE gears, but will not move when shifted into any FORWARD gear. Step 1. Check pressure.a. With the engine running and the parking brake disengaged, shift the transmission into Forward gear.b. Check the pressure on clutch 1 (14A).

Interchange the transmission modulating valve for clutch two with the transmission modulating valve for clutch three.b. Restore valves.a. Restore valves to their original locations, noting suspect valve.b. Results:* OK - There may have been an obstruction in the valve that was displaced during the procedure. Change the oil and filter elements and clean the screens.
