PROBLEM
The electrical refueling pump may not cut off when the fuel tank is full on certain D6R Series III Track-Type Tractors. The problem results from an improper ground between the fuel tank and the main frame and a ground strap must be added.

ACTION REQUIRED
1 - Add a 7G-1060 Ground Strap between the fuel tank and the main frame. Refer to Illustration 1.
2 - Verify that the black and white wires are not inversed at the 279-4812 Harness Connection to the pump. Refer to Ilustrations 2 and 3. If the wires are inversed, rework as necessary.
